I'm saying this now...

The Blue Jays could win the World Series this year, mainly because they just gassed their manager John Gibbons.

Cito Gaston. The very man who led the Jays to World Championships in 1992 and 1993 will be the Jays' manager until the end of this season. All the coaches were turfed today too, and replaced with the same staff that worked with Cito those same years.

Also, Dave Stieb will be starting against Pittsburgh tonight with Juan Guzman in middle relief, Joe Carter will bat clean-up, and Robbie Alomar will be playing second base.

Ok, the above was made up, but it's not far off.
