CBC announced yesterday that efforts to negotiate a new license agreement for the Hockey Night in Canada theme have broke down, and they will not be using it next season.

I must say, that last one is my absolute favourite. The constellation outline of a player raising the Stanley Cup and seeing Mario undress the North Stars again brings a tear to my eye.
